Beneath the Fretboard

Build blank or labeled fretboard diagrams for bass or guitar, then print your own worksheets.

How to use it: set your string count and tuning, pick how many frets to show, then click directly on the fretboard to drop markers wherever you want — handy for building a blank worksheet your students or you fill in by ear. Switch Marker labels to "Note names" or "Scale degrees" to have it label the dots for you, or use Auto-fill scale to instantly map a scale across the whole neck from a chosen root. When you're happy with it, use Download SVG for a crisp vector file (great for editing further or textbook layout), Download PNG for a ready-to-drop-in image, or Print / Save PDF for a printable worksheet. Set Export background to white for clean use in documents, or transparent to overlay it elsewhere.
